As a Warehouse Operative based in Glasgow you’ll be responsible for:
1. Completing general warehouse duties in a fast paced environment
2. Picking and packing items ready for delivery to our customers - which will involve manual handling of heavy items boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets
3. Loading and unloading vehicles for deliveries and collections
4. Booking stock in on the system and putting it away in the correct locations
5. Processing stock and completing orders for delivery or collection
6. Driving a forklift truck
7. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and adhering to Health and Safety guidelines
8. Relief driving a Van to do general deliveries as a back up
This is a full time role working 40 hours a week - Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm. Possible Saturday working 08:00- 12:00pm, paid as overtime.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
9. Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment
10. Prior experience using a forklift tuck will be advantageous
11. Strong numeracy skills and PC literacy
12. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided)
13. A strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
14. A full UK driving licence is an advantage
