About the Role
An exciting opportunity to support the operational delivery of our capital investment programme and major works projects. In this role, you will work closely and flexibly with other staff in ensuring professional, cost effective, customer focused services that deliver high quality outcomes. The purpose of this role is to deliver a high-quality maintenance service to customers, through the provision of professional technical advice, as well as project and contractor management.
The duties of this role are to:
1. Provide regular and professional communication and liaison with customers and key stakeholders in relation to works instructed and managed by the service
2. To assist in the delivery of specialist work programmes, ensuring works are to standard, contractor performance is in line with KPI's and value-for-money is achieved.
3. Take full responsibility and manage all assigned cases from start-to-finish in a professional and efficient manner whilst ensuring that appropriate stakeholders and appropriate databases are updated regularly
4. Ensure budget responsibilities are met, feeding into forecasting and efficiency plans as required
5. Prepare and present reports for managers
6. Participate in contract meetings and contract briefings

About you
To be successful, you’ll have:
7. Extensive experience of building surveying and specific experience of building maintenance, preferably within a social housing context
8. Minimum Level surveying qualification, HNC/HND. Or equivalent experience and a willingness to complete a HNC as part of your employment with us after successful Settling-In Period ( months). Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable RICS, CIOB etc
9. Successful record of managing an extensive, complex and varying caseload, with projects from inception to completion
10. Demonstrable experience and skills managing customer relationships to ensure a high level of customer care and satisfaction

12. £, per year with suitable equivalent experience, without above stated surveying qualifications but willingness to study
Working Hours:
Contract Type: Permanent
Base: Hybrid Working with an office base in Bodmin, Cornwall. Regularly visiting our sites throughout Cornwall and working from home or offices as needed.
