Main duties of the job
In this role you will:
1. Work as a member of team assisting in the digital delivery of services supporting registered clinicians in assessing and treating patients and supporting their carers/families.
2. Undertake highly skilled and specialised support work from referrals screened by a registered clinician. This may include gathering information for assessments, implementing treatment programmes, as well as enabling patients to access digital services
3. Use technical and creative skills in the provision of clinical activities for individual patients and will be responsible for evaluating and amending treatment programmes and interventions with guidance from the registered clinician.
4. Take responsibility for their own work within a broad framework laid out by a registered clinician. The post holder will be responsible for delivering the defined treatment interventions without direct supervision but will have immediate access to a registered clinician for advice and direction as required.

Experience and Knowledge
Essential criteria
12. Able to demonstrate substantial experience in health and care setting, including the relevant field of work
13. Experience of working in a team within a health/social care or educational environment
14. Knowledge of roles of other members of the multi-disciplinary team
15. Ability to plan, manage and take responsibility for an allocated caseload independently, without direct supervision
16. Experience of mentoring/supervising members of a team
17. Experience in the delivery on online therapy
Desirable criteria
18. Signed competencies in areas relevant to role
19. Understanding of research, audit and service evaluation
20. Demonstrates experience of using differing communication styles to meet the varied needs of individuals
21. Experience of working within a therapeutic environment with stroke and / or neurology patients
Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
22. Foundation degree Health and Social Care, or equivalent level 5 qualification; plus, A-levels and GCSEs or equivalent (s), including Functional Skills (level 2)
23. Care Certificate
24. Competent in working on MS Teams or other similar digital platforms.
25. e-delivery / learning methodology related qualification or relevant experience (leading training)
26. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
