This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Radiographer to join the Radiotherapy Management team at University Hospital Southampton, leading on Risk and Governance.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have HCPC registration, with study at Masters level or equivalent.
Qualifications, knowledge and experience
* Study at Master level or equivalence
* Degree in Therapeutic Radiography / Diploma of College of Radiographers with specialist experience and courses.
* HCPC Registration.
* Change management and implementation skills
* Management & leadership experience
* Highly developed clinical expertise within the context of a busy radiotherapy service
* Evidence of well-developed communication skills both up and down the organisational structure
* Evidence of working at a senior level within a Radiotherapy Department
* Evidence of evidence-based service improvement
* Ability to manage a complex project
* Project management/educational experience Understanding of wider cancer agenda and NHS commissioning structure
* Project work Working toward SoR Accreditation
* Defined area of specialist practice/experience with caseload management.
* Experience of working with staff in a management capacity
* Evidence of teaching / training skills
