Role responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager (Campaigns) to join our fast-paced Sales and Marketing team.
This role will work closely with a range of internal/external stakeholders, agencies and partners to deliver Rail specific elements of the annual Campaigns Marketing plan. This role will devise, deliver, manage and evaluate a variety of concurrent through-the-line marketing propositions, campaigns and experiential events to address key objectives, and achieve agreed RoI and sales targets.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Ensures compliant, timely and efficient delivery of agreed objectives.
2. Plans, develops and implements robust marketing campaigns/initiatives, including managing proposition/creative development and media planning with agency partners.
3. Optimises and evaluates marketing performance using marketing insight, research, media metrics & behavioural science inputs,
4. Accountable for the effective and profitable investment of allocated Marketing Campaigns budget
5. Acts as a main point of contact for Rail Marketing across all departments and at all levels within the organisation, as well as with external partner organisations and agencies.
Who we’re looking for
6. Demonstrable experience in Marketing, Brand or Communications. Experience of delivering consumer and/or B2B campaigns, events and experiential in transport, travel, tourism, or an associated sector
7. Experience of using marketing insight and data to inform and evaluate marketing performance
8. Experience of brand application and working to Brand guidelines.
9. Experience of effectively managing external suppliers/agencies.
10. Experience of collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders on multiple projects, confident networker with ability network internally and externally to support development of key propositions & marketing plans
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
