A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join a well-structured, growing residential conveyancing team. This is a non-client-facing role, making it ideal for someone who enjoys the technical and administrative side of conveyancing without handling inbound client calls.
Joining an experienced and supportive team, you will play a key role in progressing matters efficiently by preparing and managing conveyancing documentation in the background for the conveyancers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out completion searches
2. Requesting lender funds
3. Obtaining redemption statements
4. Requesting estate agent invoices
5. Processing memorandum of sale and instruction letters to solicitors
6. Preparing contract packs
7. Ordering searches
8. Sending letters to freeholders and management agents
9. Setting up DocuSign for client files
10. Sending client review requests via a third-party system
11. Preparing mortgage reports
12. Drafting transfers
13. Handling SDLT submissions
14. Assisting with exchange of contracts
15. Preparing completion packs, chits, and payment requests
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience in a residential conveyancing support role, strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage a busy workload efficiently, experience handling post-offer conveyancing administration, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
