This role is perfect for an engaging practitioner who can deliver high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and contribute to a positive and ambitious school culture. The Role Teach History across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that bring historical topics to life Adapt teaching strategies to support mixed-ability learners Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and drive achievement Maintain excellent behaviour routines and establish a purposeful classroom environment Contribute to curriculum development and department improvement Inspire learners with a passion for History, critical thinking, and enquiry We're Looking For QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Strong knowledge of the History curriculum at KS3 & KS4 Experience teaching GCSE History (any exam board) A strong classroom presence and confident behaviour management Passion for teaching and the ability to motivate and inspire pupils Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement A teacher who can integrate quickly into a supportive, collaborative team Why This School?
