Accounts Technician – Belfast
Cpl NI is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join a well-established accountancy practice. The successful candidate will work with a range of clients across various industries, ensuring the accurate preparation and maintenance of financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
·Prepare sole trader, partnership, and small company accounts
·Process day-to-day bookkeeping
·Bank reconciliations and petty cash checks
·Manage accounts payable and receivable for clients
·Assist with VAT returns
·Communicate with clients regarding their accounts, records, or outstanding queries
·Maintain client files and documentation
Requirements:
·AAT qualified or working towards a relevant qualification
·Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment is essential
·Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
·Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
·Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
