Job Description
The AP/AR Accounts Assistant will support both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions across UK operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple finance processes and takes pride in accuracy, relationships, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing customer accounts and ensuring payments are received within agreed credit terms
*
Allocating payments and resolving customer account queries
*
Collating and posting supplier invoices
*
Preparing payment runs for review
*
Raising customer credit notes where required
*
Supporting month-end and year-end routines
*
Producing analysis and reports as required
*
Ensuring all internal finance processes and controls are followed
*
Supporting other finance team members across the UK as needed
Skills & Experience
To succeed as an AP/AR Accounts Assistant, you will ideally have:

Experience in an AP and/or AR role (manufacturing environment preferred)
*
Strong ERP or finance system experience
*
High attention to detail and a process-driven mindset
*
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
*
A proactive, problem-solving approach

Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively within a team
