The Role
The Validation Engineer will be responsible for delivering cleanroom validation and ventilation testing services across hospital, pharmaceutical and controlled environments.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out HEPA filter integrity and DOP testing
* Assessing and verifying air supply and extract airflow volumes
* Calculating and confirming air change rates within controlled environments
* Measuring airflow velocities within isolators and laminar airflow cabinets
* Recording and verifying room pressure differentialsConducting airborne particle count testing
* Undertaking airborne microbiological monitoring
* Completing surface contamination sampling in line with validation standards
* Working in accordance with BS EN ISO 14644, BS EN 12469:2000, EU cGMP and HTM-03
Requirements
* Over 3 years’ experience in cleanroom validation or ventilation testing in a field-based role
* Strong knowledge of supply and extract ventilation systems
* Experience working in hospital and cleanroom environments
* A solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required
