What We're Looking For:
Minimum 5 - 10 years' experience in structural steelwork design
Degree-educated, working towards incorporated or chartered status
Extensive experience in structural steelwork frame, member, and connection design
Proficiency in design software including Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Portal Designer, Masterseries, S-Frame, and Idea Statica
Ability to produce both manual and software design calculations
Strong knowledge of British and European design standards/codes
Key Responsibilities:
Manage projects independently or collaboratively within the design team
Work to company QA procedures and design budgets
Coordinate information with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors
Attend and conduct project meetings
Assist in training graduate design engineers
Contribute to continuous business improvement
