Job Purpose The Insight Manager role is responsible for leading a small team of analysts in understanding the drivers of business performance and to make recommendations to the Senior Management Team to develop the Customer Journey through data and analysis This role reports to the Senior Insight Manager Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities • Support the Senior Insight Manager in the identification of opportunities for and delivery of statistical analysis and insight projects. • Lead the delivery of clear and concise analytical projects through to recommendations to internal Forums that influence product development. • Deliver ad hoc and regular analyses to the business with data, interpretation and recommendations. • Work collaboratively with Operational teams in identifying risk and opportunities to improve the Portfolio performance sharing recommendations with impact and benefits assessment. • Lead the development of tools and techniques through both qualitative and quantitative methods to better understand o Customer Preference o Customer Propensity to Pay o Customer Affluency through both asset wealth and cash wealth o Customer engagement through an Omni-Channel strategy o Customer situational circumstances • Lead the assessment of strategy performance through the impact to the customer and the impact on key internal metrics such as engagement rates, payment propensity, payment yield, complaint rates • Manage the performance and development of a small team of Analysts. Supporting them with scope and delivery of project work, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders informed of progress. The Insight Manager will take responsibility for the professional development of their team of analysts through regular 1-2-1s. Key working relationships & Communications Internal : 1. Academic Numerate degree with a strong statistical content. Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research an advantage. 2. Experience Minimum 4 years working in an analyst capacity in either a Risk or Marketing environment. Working with large datasets of consumer and transactional data. Management of analysts. 3. Analysis Packages Python/SQL/SAS. Working knowledge of programming in SQL or SAS is essential, Data bricks experience an advantage. Excel. Knowledge of Excel macros an advantage. Technical certification in SQL, Python, SAS, VBA, Databricks preferred. 4. Data Manipulating and analysing large datasets of customer information. Knowledge of Data Protection legislation. 5.
