About Us
This innovative and successful 11-18 school first opened in September 2004 and has grown year on year. The school currently has over 1500 students in Y7-13, has excellent facilities and is a dynamic learning community.
We are seeking to appoint a HLTA to support students both in class and to deliver
interventions to small groups within the school/SEND/Maths faculty.
Job Details
Salary: Grade 6 – £26,409 - £27,711 (pro-rata)
Progression to Grade 8 on completion of HLTA qualification.
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: 8am – 4pm Monday – Friday: Term Time only
Location: Oriel High School

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to:
Applications are invited from people who have the following skills & experience:
* Enthusiasm and a desire to learn;
* The ability to encourage students to become independent;
* Planning and delivering Numeracy/Maths to small groups across KS3 and KS4
* Knowledge of a range of SEND profiles and how to support them
* Leading small groups, supporting student's personalised learning programmes
* Line managing a small team in the day-to-day planning and deployment.
Applicants will need to have had experience as a Learning Associate/Teaching Assistant
Applicants should be prepared to provide personal care for students with disabilities.
