Your impact

Working with numerous high-profile clients, you will be an integral part of our specialist and technically diverse team delivering innovative solutions for complex noise and vibration issues both nationally and globally, adopting an integrated approach to noise modelling and its automation, along with its assessment using multiple software packages, including CadnaA/B, SoundPlan, IMMI, NoiseMap, ArcGIS, SQL, EASE, and INSUL.

Your remit

* Conduct acoustic surveys and noise assessments for major infrastructure projects.
* Use modelling software (e.g., CadnaA, CATT-Acoustic, ODEON) to simulate sound behaviour.
* Provide subject matter expert advice on acoustic design and materials.
* Support Planning and Environmental Impact Assessments, providing subject matter expert advice on acoustic design and materials.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and environmental standards.
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
* Present findings and expert advice in meetings or legal settings (senior level).

What you’ll need

With a proven track record in the successful delivery of projects across a broad range of sectors including environmental, transportation, industrial and buildings, we are keen to hear from candidates with a good blend of the following skills, experience and attributes:

* Appropriate qualification in acoustics or related science degree.
* Professional member or working towards membership of relevant professional body.
* Working knowledge in relevant noise propagation, prediction methods and computational noise modelling packages.
* Experience in interpretation and application of British, European and Global Standards relevant to noise and vibration impact and assessment.
* Experience in noise and/or vibration monitoring in the field.
* Knowledge in computer programming, ArcGIS, ArcPro, SQL would be an advantage.
