About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Customer Service Administrator to join our Manchester site. This vital role will provide comprehensive administrative support across multiple functions, including customer service, financial processing, technical report coordination, and general office administration. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of customer service while ensuring that technical staff can focus on their core responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
* Manage daily customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
* Process technical reports, register orders, prepare quotations and invoices.
* Assist in sample breakdown/cutting operations and ensure timely mailing.
* Liaise with Finance on invoicing queries, debt reduction and account setup.
* Maintain and monitor Purchase Order tracking systems.
* Coordinate subcontracting of test samples and ensure turnaround times are met.
* Organise courier collections and dispatches in line with customer needs.
* Maintain accurate filing systems to support operational and quality standards.
* Monitor office supplies and ensure stock levels meet site requirements.
* Support reception duties

Experience
Essential:
* Experience working in a busy, fast-paced office environment.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and office systems.
Desirable:
* Experience in customer-facing roles.
* Previous exposure to invoicing, or financial data entry.
Qualifications
Desirable:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
