In your role as a Care Assistant at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell.
By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team at the care home. Whether providing long-term, short-term, convalescence, respite, or palliative care, our focus is on delivering the highest quality service at all times.
As a Care Assistant, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. This includes assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.
You will deliver care that genuinely comes from the heart, ensuring residents retain their dignity and individuality. You may help those with limited mobility to use aids, offer emotional support to confused or distressed residents, or provide end-of-life care, always prioritizing their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately.
