RAC has an exciting opportunity to appoint an SEO Executive to join the Performance Marketing team on a permanent basis. This role offers a flexible hybrid working model: three days from home and two days at our Bradley Stoke office in Bristol.
We are seeking a talented individual with SEO experience or a digital marketing executive with a focus on SEO. You will be responsible for driving high-quality traffic through increased organic visibility, maintaining technical hygiene, identifying opportunities, and executing RAC’s SEO strategy. You should be capable of autonomous work, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to influence others to support the growth of RAC’s core products and services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the creation, implementation, and execution of our SEO strategy.
2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage and deliver an SEO roadmap, including on-page and off-page activities.
3. Report on SEO visibility across products and services, ensuring KPIs are met.
4. Provide insights and recommendations to increase visibility and traffic.
5. Monitor the technical health of the RAC domain and implement solutions to improve crawlability.
6. Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Ahrefs to identify trends and opportunities.
7. Manage budgets and compliance processes, communicating with stakeholders for approvals.
8. Develop strong relationships and workflows across the Performance Marketing department.
9. Stay updated with industry changes impacting performance.
Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing and executing SEO strategies with measurable results. They should possess a blend of technical, creative, and analytical skills, with a passion for SEO and commercial awareness. Experience with Google Search Console, auditing tools like Screaming Frog, and a solid understanding of Google algorithms and on-page SEO techniques are essential.
