Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer – Modelling

What You’ll Be Doing
* Leverage your expertise: Apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) knowledge to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities.
* Understand user needs: Model customer and user requirements to influence design activities and enhance technical and operational performance.
* Ensure comprehensive design evidence: Capture and endorse design proving evidence within the model.
* Integrate models: Collaborate with other models of the submarine platform.
* Report and manage: Provide updates on engineering activities, identify challenges, and implement recovery plans, including managing change embodiment activities.
* Lead project estimates: Develop estimates for scope and resources to support bids, proposals, and project planning.
* Mentor others: Share your knowledge to lead and develop team members in MBSE.
Your Skills and Experiences
Essential:
* Proven experience in Model Based Systems Engineering within the defence or maritime industries, with a solid understanding of the engineering lifecycle.
* Familiarity with relevant engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
Desirable:
* Experience with Systems Engineering modelling tools, such as Enterprise Architect (EA).
* Proficiency in Systems Modelling Language (SysML).
* Knowledge of modelling frameworks and ISO15288.
