This role will expand the capacity of the team to deliver on short-, medium, and long-term objectives, helping us drive value and performance across a diverse property portfolio—including racecourses and supporting real estate.

The Asset Managerwill
* Managing the day-to-day asset and property management of our diverse property portfolio
* Handling all aspects of leasing, including new leases, renewals, terminations, and negotiations (using Re-Leased property management system)
* To manage and maintain the property management system (Re-Leased) for the Group’s property portfolio. Work with Finance Team to set up invoicing and arrears process. Liaising with tenants, inspecting properties, and processing lease-related applications (assignments, sub-lettings, alterations)
* Supporting asset business plans, forecasts, and maintaining accurate property records and systems
* Assisting with property acquisitions, disposals, and delivery of development projects
* Monitoring income and expenditure to drive performance and maximise returns
* Providing expert property advice to internal teams and supporting capital planning and development strategies
* Managing consultants, maintenance contracts, and ensuring best value and service standards across the estate.
About you
* MRICS qualified (or equivalent) – pathway flexible (Rural, Commercial)
* Strong understanding of Landlord & Tenant legislation, with knowledge of H&S and Fire Safety regulations
* Proven experience managing diverse property portfolios, including acquisitions and disposals
* Skilled in using property management systems, with a strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and valuation software
* Demonstrated ability to work to budgets and strict timeframes, delivering results under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
* Strong coordination and organisational abilities, with experience managing service providers and consultants
* Highly numerate and analytical, with a focus on adding value and optimising asset performance
