An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 RMN to join our team on Pwyll Ward, Male Forensic Medium Secure Ward, within the Forensic Psychiatry unit at Ty Llywelyn MSU. Pwyll Ward specialises in the assessment and comprehensive treatment of individuals with a broad spectrum of enduring mental health needs. We accept admissions from prison and high-security settings. Service users receive treatment and support to enable their transition to lower security levels or directly to the community. The unit benefits from experienced Consultants, Specialty doctors, dedicated Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, nurses, and Social Workers. We seek ambitious staff with a desire for personal and professional development. We offer regular clinical and managerial supervision, promote continuous professional development, and provide opportunities for career progression to ensure best practice in clinical care. Our staff are supported through a well-structured Trust Induction, Mandatory Training, monthly professional and clinical supervision, staff appraisals, a robust Preceptorship Programme, support for ongoing professional development activities, Reflective Practice, staff meetings, and team events such as away days. Knowledge and Qualifications
* NMC registered
* Evidence of post-registration training, e.g., POVA
* Child Protection certification
* Intermediate Life Support certification (if required in clinical setting)
Experience

* Ability to implement evidence-based practice
