Your application should reflect your genuine experiences and qualifications to ensure authenticity and credibility Job overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Secretary to join our Admin Team working within our Perinatal service based at Greenhaven, Hopewood, Nottingham. The Perinatal Community Services provide treatment and support to women experiencing problems with mental illness throughout the perinatal period, from 13 weeks pregnant up to one year after having their baby, across Nottinghamshire and Bassetlaw. Advert You will be based at Greenhaven at Hopewood, Nottingham. The main responsibility of the role is to provide administrative support to the clinical team. Duties will include booking appointments using the Trust database system, typing letters, audio typing, room bookings, minute taking, and holding electronic diaries. Ideally, you should be flexible to cover other responsibilities to meet the demands of the service. The post involves speaking to service users, carers and other agencies. You will be expected to be a team player. You will work under the direct supervision of the Admin Team Leader and have the ability to prioritise own work within tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this post. The Trust is committed to reducing its carbon emissions, with a specialised Energy and Environmental team working to ensure compliance with environmental legislation, enhance our environmental performance, and achieve our net-zero commitment Detailed job description and main responsibilities The main duties/responsibilities of the role are: - To provide a comprehensive, efficient and confidential, administrative and secretarial service to the multi-disciplinary team in Perinatal services To work in close co-operation with staff and other health professionals to ensure a quality service. To be an active and supportive member of the Perinatal services administrative team. (For full range of role responsibilities and duties please refer to the attached job description) Please note that this post may not meet the pay and skill level required for a Skilled worker visa In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
