We are looking for a highly professional and enthusiastic individual to join our Housekeeping team at The Best Western York House Hotel. We are set in a fabulous location, just opposite the seafront and just five minutes walk from the town centre.
About the role:
As a Housekeeper / Room attendant you will play a key part in ensuring guests feel ultimately comfortable in a clean environment. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail enjoy making a difference and enthusiastic about cleaning.
The candidate doesn't necessarily have to have years of cleaning experience but must posses the right attitude. A little overview of what is expected:
* Working shifts are between 09:00 -15:00 however could work until later as and when required
* Cleaning guest rooms
* Sticking to brand and hotel standards
* Assisting with Laundry/Linen and keeping the corridors clean and tidy at all times
* Understands the fundamentals of work flow and best practices to ensure rooms are cleaned with in a specified time frame
* Able to use chemicals safely and in the correct areas
* Be a team player
* Hard working
* Resilient and able to take direction
