Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance FitterLocation: CorbySalary: £40k-£50k DOEHours: Day Shift + Call OutContract: Full Time, PermanentWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing and industrial business. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with an electrical bias and strong mechanical knowledge to become part of a busy and supportive engineering team.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement activities across the site to ensure maximum equipment reliability and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and site equipmentRespond promptly to breakdowns and reactive maintenance requirementsDiagnose and fault-find on both electrical and mechanical systemsMaintain and repair motors, drives, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and sensorsWork on 3-phase systems and electrical control panelsAssist with machinery installations, upgrades, and improvement projectsEnsure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with company proceduresAccurately complete maintenance documentation and recordsSupport continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the siteCandidate RequirementsPrevious experience within a maintenance engineering or maintenance fitter roleElectrically biased with strong mechanical fault-finding skillsExperience within manufacturing, industrial, or heavy engineering environmentsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsCapable of working independently and prioritizing workload effectivelyPLC fault-finding knowledge would be advantageousNVQ, City & Guilds, or recognized apprenticeship in Engineering or Electrical Maintenance preferred18th Edition qualification desirableWhat We OfferCompetitive salary packagePension schemeOngoing training and development opportunitiesStable, long-term employment within a growing businessSupportive and professional working environmentIf you are a motivated and reliable engineer looking for your next opportunity within a fast-paced industrial environment, we would like to hear from you.Apply today with your CV for immediate consideration.TPBN1_UKTJ
