Overview
Sutherland Labs is a global team of researchers and designers who work with leading brands to improve everyday experiences. We are seeking a Studio Assistant to provide front of house and support the day-to-day operations within our London offices. Part of a global organisation, the Sutherland Labs space in London is multi-functional housing research, meeting and innovation spaces, that serve both internal and external markets.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team and ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our studios. Your role will involve creating and maintaining a creative yet professional atmosphere, tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
* Assist with daily maintenance of the building to quickly address any issues that arise.
* Engaging directly with clients, helping them settle into their spaces, and proactively checking in to address any needs or concerns.
* Serving lunches to clients to enhance their experience.
* Supporting the studio team with administrative tasks, such as maintaining our CRM system.
* Assisting with audio/visual equipment and setups to ensure everything runs smoothly.
* Facilitating the rearrangement and movement of furniture as needed for various events and configurations.
The right candidate will be
The ideal candidate should be patient and adaptable, as each day will bring new projects and a diverse range of corporate and creative clients. You should be comfortable opening and closing the office when necessary and flexible with working hours. A good grasp of AV and computer setups is preferred, along with a keen attention to detail that enhances the customer experience.

Qualifications
* Experience in hospitality or relevant experience in a customer facing role.
* Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
Hours
This is an office based role and would ideally suit candidates that are within easy commute of central London. Typical working hours are 8.30am 6pm, although some flexibility may be required (occasionally starting 7.30am or finishing later in the evening to accommodate client bookings). We operate a Time Off In Lieu policy to ensure employees recoup extra hours worked.
