Clinical Support Worker Copeland
Working along side the community team with a special interest in palliative care and rehabilitation
The team delivers care to patients which includes supporting with Activities of Daily Living, including personal care, catheter care, meal provision and support with nutrition. End of life support and comfort. Care should be delivered in such a way to promote independence where possible and as part of an ongoing plan to support the patient to remain in their own home.
Care is delivered to ensure patients have a safe and timely discharge from hospital and prevent readmission or admission to hospital.

You will be part of a very motivated team -who deliver a high quality of care and rehabilitation


The team works 7 days per week, 365 days per year and the shifts are 8 - 14:00 and then 16:00 - 22:00. Staffs may be expected to change their shifts pattern and work outside these hours with limited notice.

Level 3 vocational qualification or Short courses and completion of competency workbook equivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical care duties or Equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of clinical care duties equivalent to Level 3; -Theoretical knowledge -Experience of a range of care and related procedures -clinical observations knowledge of data protection legislation and health and safety at work legislation
National Care Certificate or commitment to complete within 12 weeks of commencing employment
Numeracy and Literacy Level 2
