Salary up to £50k Hybrid and flexible working patterns Bonus scheme 25 days holiday, plus banks, plus your birthday off Pension Great progression and training on offer Parking on site Our client: A well-established accountancy firm in York is looking for a Client Manager who can lead from the front, build great client relationships, and help their team deliver brilliant work. The Role As the Client Manager, you'll be the go-to person for your clients, managing relationships and making sure they get the service they deserve. You'll also be leading a team, helping them develop their skills and making sure everything runs smoothly. Think less "number cruncher in a corner" and more "trusted advisor who gets things done." Day-to-day, you'll be juggling client meetings, reviewing your team's work, spotting opportunities to help clients with additional services, and making sure deadlines don't slip. You'll keep everything on track and liaise with the board and other managers when needed. What You'll Need Hold an accountancy qualification, ACA, ACCA, CIMA. Solid accounting knowledge and a good grasp of tax fundamentals Experience managing people and bringing out the best in them Strong client skills - you're comfortable having tricky conversations when needed Good with Excel, Word and accounting software (Iris experience is a bonus) Sharp attention to detail and excellent organisational skills A practical, roll-your-sleeves-up attitude when things get busy The ability to see the bigger picture while staying on top of the detail If you enjoy variety, like working with people, and get satisfaction from solving problems, then this would be the perfect role to apply for!
