Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced leader to join us as an Operational Service Manager on a secondment basis for 12 months. You will take charge of our South West Urgent Care and Older Adults Services, focusing on our inpatient and urgent care delivery. This secondment is a great way to grow your leadership skills and broaden your portfolio. You will be at the heart of system‑critical services, working closely with clinical leaders and senior stakeholders to make a real difference.
Responsibilities
* Daily Management: oversee the operational running of South West Urgent Care and Older Adults inpatient units.
* Standards & Safety: ensure we meet all workforce, quality, and safety standards, as well as national requirements like NICE.
* Governance: lead on risk management, audits, and learning from incidents.
* Team Leadership: motivate multidisciplinary teams and manage staff performance and development.
* Change & Improvement: support services through organisational change and help with long‑term service transformation.
