Location - Hampshire/South Coast
Salary - £50,000 / £70,000
Our client is seeking an experienced Composite Structural Engineer with relevant industry expertise. This role involves the design, analysis, and detailed development of composite structures across the full project lifecycle, from initial concept through to construction and delivery.
You should have a strong understanding of composite materials, laminate behaviour, and structural principles, along with the ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into clear, accurate engineering documentation.
Responsibilities
* Perform structural analysis and calculations for composite structures to ensure strength, durability, and manufacturability.
* Ensure designs meet relevant standards and prepare compliance documentation.
* Optimise designs using simulation tools.
* Support projects from concept through testing to production.
* Produce accurate engineering drawings for manufacture.
* Coordinate with regulators and stakeholders.
* Provide technical support during builds and oversee key construction stages.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in a similar composites engineering role.
* Strong knowledge of laminate design and analysis.
* CAD proficiency and experience with structural simulation tools.
* Professional accreditation (or working toward it).
* Understanding of applicable industry standards.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
