 
        
        We are recruiting for a Automation QA Engineer with Insurance experience to join one of our insurance clients on a 6-month contract

Responsibilities
 * Take complete ownership of automating applications within the existing automation framework.
 * Analyse applications and identify areas for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
 * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
 * Enhance the current automation framework and suggest innovative approaches to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Business Analysts, Project Managers) to define automation requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
 * Propose and implement strategies to improve automation speed, accuracy, and reliability.
 * Participate in new QA initiatives, including AI-driven testing, data validation automation, and continuous integration enhancements.
 * Contribute to establishing best practices, coding standards, and reusable components for automation.
 * Identify and mitigate risks in the automation lifecycle, ensuring consistent and reliable testing outcomes.
Experience
 * Hands-on experience in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
 * Strong programming/scripting skills in C# or Java
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
 * Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, ).
 * Experience in data-driven testing and validation across complex systems or insurance applications.
 * Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
 * Experience in improving and maintaining automation frameworks to support scalable test execution.
 * Knowledge of the insurance domain (underwriting, claims, policy management) is an advantage
