Responsibilities
* Over-seeing operational activity across KSDSS and sustaining Health & Safety excellence in ongoing operations.
* Identify opportunities to correct and streamline existing business processes and systems.
* Assist the company's H&S Performance Engine in evolving a flexible, organisational model in which teams and account managers across key functions and disciplines, organise around solutions.
* Translating KSDSS's strategic planning into clearly defined operational plans.
* Reporting to the SMT/Board on operations activities towards business goals at each meeting of same.
* Help to establish a culture of continuous business improvement particularly in regard to H&S systems.
* Optimise efficiencies in the daily management of the Helpdesk.
* Stay up to date with the technological changes within the industry.
* Minimise operational expenditures with the business wherever possible.
* Continue to develop leadership and coaching programmes to increase employee effectiveness.
* Mentoring.
* Direct all operational activities across KSDSS in tandem with the MD/owners.
* Ensure that new and existing staff are kept abreast of all new industry changes, including investing in training/mentoring courses.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
* Solid, proven experience within the FM sector.
* Chartered membership of regularised Health & Safety body or equivalent (NEBOSH or IOSH).
* Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
* Ability to incentivise/motivate under some micro-management conditions.
* Target driven with proven success in a similar role.
* Analytical and planning skills.
* Full driving license.
* Flexibility to manage out of hours works/emergency's as necessary.
* High degree of understanding of CAFM systems and SLA/KPI driven delivery.
* Ability to work in a high-volume work order environment in 24/7 business.
