Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Outpatient administration team. We are seeking a full-time Team Leader, based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, offering the chance to play a key role in shaping and supporting the delivery of our patient focused service.
To be considered for this role, you must have a good standard of education i.e. GCSE Maths and English or equivalent and have an awareness and understanding of waiting list management. Previous experience of leadership and operational management of performance targets within a healthcare environment would be very beneficial.
Main duties of the job
Having responsibility for appointment booking processes, as a Team Leader, you would work with peers across the Trust to provide an efficient and effective administration service to our patients and clinicians, by achieving and improving performance against local and national standards.
Ensure that staff always adhere to standard operating procedures, highlighting to senior management any situations where this is not achievable.
To attend any meetings relevant to your role or as requested by departmental managers.
This is a varied role in a very busy and demanding environment where you will have direct responsibility for the day-to-day organisation, management and welfare of your team.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TR
