Quality Inspector – Permanent Opportunity (Southend)
Are you an experienced quality professional with an engineering background? Our client, a respected manufacturer in Southend, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis.
What You'll Do:
* Oversee quality assurance throughout the production process, ensuring products meet both internal standards and customer expectations.
* Perform inspections and validations of components at various stages of manufacture.
* Prepare and complete First Article Inspection reports.
* Handle non-conformance issues for both suppliers and customers, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Work closely with colleagues to meet quality and output goals.
* Contribute to embedding quality practices within the manufacturing workflow.
* Serve as an authorised signatory for quality releases.
What We're Looking For:
1. Solid engineering background with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
2. Hands-on experience in the aerospace industry is highly desirable.
3. Previous involvement in quality control or assurance roles.
4. Recent experience with First Article Inspections and internal/external audits.
