We are seeking a creative and dedicated Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers and design, with the ability to create stunning arrangements for various occasions. Being multilingual, particularly in English and Spanish, is a significant advantage in serving our diverse clientele.
Duties
* Design and create floral arrangements for various events such as weddings, funerals, and corporate functions.
* Maintain the freshness and quality of flowers by managing inventory and ensuring proper storage conditions.
* Assist customers with selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their needs while providing excellent customer service.
* Manage merchandising displays to enhance the visual appeal of the shop and promote sales.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the shop, including restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness.
* Stay updated on floral trends and techniques to continually improve design skills.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Florist or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of horticulture, gardening practices, and flower care techniques.
* Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Creative flair with an eye for detail in floral design and merchandising.
