We support a wide range of manufacturing sectors including aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, and precision engineering, helping customers improve productivity, reduce costs and optimise machining performance. We are currently seeking a driven and technically capable Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The Role As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while supporting and growing existing customer accounts. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will provide technical expertise and practical machining solutions directly on-site. Key responsibilities include: Developing and managing customer relationships within your territory Identifying opportunities to introduce cutting tool and machining solutions Providing technical advice on tooling selection, machining strategies and productivity improvements Conducting on-site trials and performance evaluations Preparing quotations, proposals and technical reports Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction Achieving agreed sales and margin targets About You To succeed in this role, you will have: Proven experience in a technical sales or machining/manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of cutting tools and metal machining processes The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A proactive, self-motivated approach to business development A full UK driving licence
