Job Title – Senior Engineer £140M Project
Project – Residential RC Frame Apartments
Job Location – South England – Travel expenses & Accommodation
Salary – £40K - £45K plus package
About the Company
Tier 1 Contractor with one of the largest UK Turnovers. Specialise in Design & Build projects across NI, ROI and Mainland UK valued up to £150M.
The Role
* Checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations and completed to a high standard.
* Liaise and manage sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
* Work closely with Project Manager and Design Teams to overcome any issues that may arise during construction effectively and with the least disruption to the program.
* Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
* Maintain excellent relationships with direct construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
* Manage a team of engineers to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
Requirements
* A Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering role with a Main Contractor in the UK or ROI.
* Experience working on new build RC Frame developments form start to finish is essential due to the nature of this project.
* Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
