About the role: The Controlling function provides financial analysis and decision-making support. The Accountant (Controlling) role will work alongside and provide support to the Business Controllers. Your responsibilities: · Financial analysis, KPIs, monitoring and reporting. · Financial support and interpretation to the business. · Support and work alongside non-financial management. · Strategic and decision-making models. Implementation of strategies. · Integration and reporting of business acquisitions · Business procedures, reporting compliance, controls, and risk assessments. · Control and preparation of budgets, forecasts and monthly flashes. · Review and analyse working capital to achieve optimisation. · Ensure compliance to group Rules of Procedures · Evaluation and appraisal of capex and contract approval requests Your Skills & Experience: Education: Part qualified Accounting Qualification Experience/knowledge: Experience of working on SAP systems (Essential) Experience of working within Industry. Chemical Industry experience preferred but not essential. Excellent analytical skills & the ability to communicate across business functions Strong knowledge of O365 applications, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
