Job Description:
Marine & Helicopter Coordination is a key support function within the Offshore Operations & Logistics department of Construction, enabling safe offshore operations, transit, access to the OWF, assets within the OWF, and emergency response during OWF construction.
The role involves day and night shifts, including weekends. Additional ad-hoc shifts may be available during the main contract period and surrounding periods.
Key Tasks:
* Coordinate emergency response, liaising with project staff and external agencies.
* Control vessel and helicopter traffic according to protocols.
* Track personnel, vessels, and communications.
* Manage WTG access restrictions.
* Optimize vessel allocations and schedule changes.
* Operate offshore management systems, ensuring certification and asset status are up-to-date.
* Liaise with local stakeholders as needed.
* Provide weather forecasts and interpret data for project and vessel masters.
* Manage relationships with weather data providers.
Requirements:
* Local applicants preferred, within approximately 2 hours of Grimsby.
* Over 2 years of experience in Marine Coordination.
* Competent with Offshore Operations Supplier Database and Radio Communications.
* Familiar with Maritime Certification.
* Team player, proactive, able to work under pressure, and well-organized.
* Experience in offshore Emergency Response and Personnel Tracking.
* Knowledge of Marine Traffic Control, Airspace Coordination, and weather/marine operation monitoring.
* Availability for 12-hour shifts, 1 week on/1 week off, with flexibility for extended rotations.
