Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Corporate Security Officer to join a discreet, professional
security team at a prestigious location in central London. This role demands a polished
and highly competent individual who can balance visible protection with excellent
client service, ensuring a safe, secure, and professional environment for executives,
staff, and high-profile visitors.
Key Responsibilities
• Access Control & Front-of-House Security
• Provide a professional first point of contact for staff, clients, and visitors.
• Verify credentials, manage access systems, and monitor entry/exit points.
• Maintain a discreet but confident presence appropriate to a high end corporate
environment.
• Physical Security & Risk Management
• Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the premises.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and building management systems; respond promptly to
incidents.
• Assist in the delivery of executive protection protocols, visitor escorts, and event
security.
• Enforce compliance with site security policies, escalating risks to management.
• Incident Response & Reporting
• Respond swiftly and decisively to security incidents, emergencies, and medical
situations.
• Maintain accurate incident logs, daily occurrence books, and electronic records.
• Liaise with emergency services, building management, and external stakeholders
when required.
• Customer Service & Communication
• Deliver outstanding service, demonstrating professionalism and discretion at all
times.
• Communicate confidently with senior executives and VIP visitors.
• Provide clear, concise written and verbal reports to management.
• Technology & Systems
• Operate security IT systems (CCTV, access control, visitor management, alarm
systems).
• Use MS Office and reporting software competently to create professional
documentation.
• Support integration of new security technologies where required.Essential Requirements
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (minimum).
• First Aid at Work certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Demonstrable corporate security experience in a high-end financial, legal, or blue-
chip environment.
• Strong IT skills (CCTV platforms, access control, MS Office, incident management
tools).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal
confidently with senior executives and visitors.
• Impeccable grooming and professional presentation.
• Ability to remain calm, discreet, and decisive under pressure.
• Strong situational awareness and a proactive approach to identifying risks.
Desirable
• Counter-terrorism awareness training (ACT, Project Griffin, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, or equivalent corporate security frameworks.
• Fire Marshal/Warden training.
