This role is based with Parking Control Management in Slough. Position As a Sign Fitter you will be responsible for physical signage installations across all regional areas of the UK. This hands-on role includes preparing signs for fitting, transporting them to various locations using company vans, and installing them both internally and externally—whether affixed to existing structures or freestanding. You will be responsible for safely carrying out site installations using power tools and access equipment, therefore previous experience in a sign fitting or construction role is preferred. The role is working outdoors, in varied locations so you must enjoy using your initiative when following site instructions. Due to the varied site locations, holding a full UK driving licence is preferred, but not essential. Responsibilities And Duties Preparing signage so that it is ready for fitting Installation of all types of signage (i.e., internal, small, and large external, free standing and affixed to existing structures) Carry out site installations using power tools and access equipment. Driving company vans to all parts of the UK – if full license held. Otherwise, you will be the passenger travelling to various sites Delivery of correspondence Liaising with clients when necessary Completion of timesheets to record working hours To follow safe working procedures and operating procedures Requirements Who you are Confident in using power tools and working at height when required Happy in an outdoors environment Full UK driving licence is desirable so driving responsibilities can be shared Confident navigating to sites across the UK Set high quality standards and strive for quality assurance Use your initiative and ask questions to ensure correct installations Agena Values We believe that the way we do business is as important as the business that we do. Office hours are 9am - 5pm however installation needs may mean early starts or late finishes around travel and business needs. Authorised overtime is paid, with 1.5x rate at weekends.
