What you’ll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?


* Assist in drafting and maintaining of system and procedural guides on behalf of the Operations team and wider Claims Department.
* Provide onshore FNOL triage and processing capability in conjunction with ESS (Poland)
* Provide general clerical support including (but not limited to) post opening/scanning, system allocation and distribution, data inputting, report checking etc
* Assist/contribute to UK & Lloyds claims improvement initiatives.
* Where required support UAT for multiple claims/reporting systems liaising appropriately with Client Relationship Managers, Underwriters, Middle Office and Claims teams.
* Undertake work on any other task required by the Claims Department as may be required.

You will report to Head of Claims Operations - UK & Lloyds

* Ability to operate to tight deadlines in a pressured environment
* Good level of IT skills (Excel, Outlook etc) and computer literacy
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Flexibility

* Basic understanding of the London and UK Insurance Market
* Basic knowledge of claims processes including claim notification, reserving, payments/recoveries and data capture
* Basic knowledge of working with reports and data analysis skills
