Mechanical Assembler / Fitter - Temp to Perm opportunity with an immediate start. Corby | £14.00 - £15.00 per hour | Mon-Thu 7:30-4:30, Fri 7:30-12:30 with plenty of overtime available. Permanent position for the right candidate

Responsibilities
* To carry out heavy assembly work - sometimes in confined spaces
* Use a variety of hand and power tools to meet production deadlines
* Check quality at every stage, raising any issues before products move forward
* Complete all relevant paperwork & inspection records
* Keep your work area safe, tidy, and compliant with Health & Safety standards
Experience and Skills
* Have previously worked as a mechanical assembler or mechanical fitter
* Be able to read from diagrams and drawings.
* Positive, proactive, and comfortable working to schedules
* Be mechanically minded
* Passionate about producing top-quality work
* Reliable, flexible, and keen to learn new skills
* Experience with hand & power tools is essential
* Have a genuine interest in mechanical engineering
* Be happy with heavy lifting.
