An exciting opportunity has arisen for and experienced Legal Secretary to join a successful law firm in Tonbridge.
The duties of the role:
* Perform audio and copy typing tasks with accuracy.
* Handle incoming calls and respond to client enquiries via telephone and email.
* Provide administrative support to lawyers, paralegals, and partners.
* Manage copying and scanning duties efficiently.
* Liaise with other lawyers and paralegals through various communication channels.
* Draft legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail.
* Proofread documents and make necessary amendments.
* Submit SDLT returns and handle Land Registry applications.
* Apply for property searches as required.
* Organise diary management and meeting arrangements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Legal Secretary in Conveyancing.
2. Knowledge of Property Law and Residential Property.
3. Professional and efficient with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous in task execution.
5. Personable, self-motivated, and demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
