The National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) will transform the future of rehabilitation for people who have experienced injury or illness. Opening in November 2025, the NRC is a new, purpose-built 70-bed facility on the Stanford Hall Rehabilitation Estate near Loughborough, co-located with the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre. It will share world-class rehabilitation facilities, with academic partnerships embedding research, innovation, and training in rehabilitation into clinical practice. We are looking for an ambitious and dedicated physiotherapist with significant experience in neurological rehab to help shape the service and deliver the future of rehabilitation. The role offers a unique, brand-new rehabilitation environment and opportunities for CPD and development.

Main duties
The post holder will provide a specialist service in complex rehabilitation assessment, advice and treatment for patients, including neuro and complex musculoskeletal trauma injuries in an in-patient environment. You will be supported by a team of Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Assistant Practitioners with full training and support to develop your clinical, leadership, teaching and service development skills. You will demonstrate effective communication, prioritisation and organisational skills within a cohesive multidisciplinary team, while managing a complex clinical caseload from assessment to discharge or transfer of care. Regular supervision and appraisal will be provided and you will be involved in service development, audit, research and the implementation of evidence-based practice. * BSc honours or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
* Full Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) registration
* Evidence of maintaining professional competence through C.P.D.
