Torcare is an established Elderly care provider of 3 care homes who pride ourselves on providing exemplary levels of care and support for all our residents who use our services.
We are looking for Health Care Assistants to join our staff team and our residents.
We have full time and part time hours available.
About you:
* To be able to deliver care in a sensitive and person-centred way, placing the client at the forefront of the care given.
* To be able to support the smooth running of the home through a flexible approach to rota cover and a willingness to cover absences as and when required
* Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* Able to work on your own initiative
Duties include but not limited to the following:
* Ensure high levels of care are maintained
* To ensure residents retain their dignity and individuality
* To provide care and support to clients
* To carry out person-centred regular checks of clients in your care, ensuring their individual privacy and needs are met
* Maintain accurate records of care provided
* To carry out specific tasks under the direct supervision and guidance of a senior member of the team.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Basic IT skills to manage documentation and communicate through electronic systems.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential for this role.

Staff are required to work every other weekend
5.6 weeks annual leave entitlement including Bank Holidays
