Registered Veterinary Nurse Holmefield Veterinary Clinic, Brayton Up to £30,044 depending on experience, plus benefits About the Role Join us at Holmefield Veterinary Clinic as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including consulting, client care, general anaesthesia for routine and complex procedures, assisting in ops, triage, inpatient care, and running diagnostic tests. Our flexible working patterns ensure that your work schedule fits seamlessly with your lifestyle, with full-time roles typically based on 4 or 5 days per week from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. Working 1 in 5 Saturdays 8:30-1:30pm. may be required to work in our sister practice, Sherburn-in-elmet. Ideally someone who drives. We prioritise work-life balance and are open to discussing hours that suit your needs. With Swift Referrals covering our out-of-hours, there's no requirement for nights or Sundays, allowing you to enjoy your downtime without interruption. Clinical coaching would be ideal but not essential. About Us Holmefield Veterinary Clinic is a well-established 100% Small Animal practice located in the picturesque surroundings of North Yorkshire. Situated in a semi-rural area, we offer the perfect blend of tranquillity and accessibility to city life. With regular direct trains to London, Manchester, and Leeds from nearby Selby, as well as a convenient train station in Sherburn-in-Elmet, we provide easy access to major cities. Our recently refurbished main site boasts modern equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound suitable for both abdominal and cardiac scans, companion laser class IV, multiparameter monitoring machine, and doppler blood pressure. We're proud to be a cat-friendly clinic, with separate species wards and a dedicated bereavement room to ensure a peaceful final visit for pets and their owners. About the Team and Culture Join our friendly and experienced team, consisting of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 of whom are certificate holders, and a vet who is an advanced practitioner in small animal surgery. Supported by 5 RVNs and 7 dedicated support team members, we prioritise collaboration, professionalism, and compassionate care in everything we do.
