Key Account Manager - Chichester / Hybrid - £50,000 + Benefits

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and nurture key customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and profitable growth.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
* Identify new business opportunities and lead the tender process from planning to completion.
* Provide data‑driven insights into customer needs, market trends, and category performance.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutual benefit.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Commercial, Operations, Technical, Finance, and more) to deliver seamless service and value to customers.
* Report on account performance, sales activity, and market developments to senior leadership.
* Uphold company values and maintain a strong commitment to Health & Safety standards.
The Candidate
* Proven experience managing key accounts, ideally within the fresh produce or FMCG industry (minimum 5 years).
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering growth and ROI.
* Experience managing budgets and optimising trade revenue.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive, flexible, and solutions‑focused approach in a fast‑changing environment.
* Confidence working with data and advanced IT skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
* Clean UK/EU driving licence and flexibility to travel as required.
The Package
* Salary £45,000 - £50,000 DOE.
