Senior Quantity Surveyor - Groundworks - Essex
We're on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a passion for delivering groundworks projects to join a dynamic team.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Overseeing the commercial and contractual aspects of civil engineering projects, particularly focused on highways and infrastructure.
* Preparing, reviewing, and managing cost plans, valuations, and variations.
* Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure financial efficiency across the lifecycle of each project.
* Ensuring compliance with contract terms, risk management, and procurement strategies.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in quantity surveying, with a strong focus on Groundworks and Commercial buildings
* Proven track record of managing budgets and delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
* Strong knowledge of NEC or similar forms of contract.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (MRICS preferred but not essential).
