PR Manager – Make Lifesaver Famous

Lifesaver is a certified B-Corp on a mission to power people sustainably. We’ve developed the world’s first outdoor power bank vending machine and provide portable charging solutions at major events and venues — from Wimbledon and Wembley to The O2 and Winter Wonderland. As an Export Champion and Green Supply Awards funder, Lifesaver is driving the shift towards sustainable, circular energy solutions across live entertainment, transport, and retail sectors.
The Role
We’re looking for a freelance PR Manager who can make Lifesaver famous. This is a strategic and creative role focused on elevating our visibility across online, print, and social media. You’ll work directly with Co-Founder, Archie Wilkinson — to position Lifesaver and its leadership team as industry thought leaders within sustainability, events, and innovation.
Your Objectives
 * Make Lifesaver famous: Drive top-tier awareness through storytelling, earned media, and industry coverage.
 * Build credibility and authority: Position Lifesaver as the go-to name in sustainable charging and live event technology.
 * Own the narrative: Shape consistent messaging that aligns with our mission, innovation, and leadership.
 * Enhance discoverability: Improve brand search visibility and domain authority in the evolving world of AI-driven search.
Key Responsibilities
 * Develop and execute a proactive PR strategy to raise Lifesaver’s profile across the UK, EU, and global markets.
 * Build relationships with key industry journalists, editors, and publications in sustainability, technology, live events, and transport sectors.
 * Secure coverage in relevant trade and mainstream media, and manage press releases, news alerts, and reactive opportunities.
 * Coordinate thought leadership opportunities for Archie and the executive team — from op-eds and interviews to speaking engagements and podcasts.
 * Develop content for social channels, LinkedIn, and earned media that reinforces Lifesaver’s brand narrative.
 * Identify and deliver “quick win” media opportunities to maintain consistent visibility.
 * Track and report PR performance metrics and media impact.

 * Lifesaver regularly featured in top-tier and industry-relevant publications.
 * Increased brand search visibility and domain authority.
 * Archie and the leadership team established as credible, quoted experts in sustainability and innovation.
 * Consistent PR activity that reinforces Lifesaver’s position as a market leader.
You’ll Bring
 * Proven experience in PR, communications, or media relations (agency or in-house).
 * Strong existing relationships with journalists across sustainability, tech, events, and business.
 * Ability to craft compelling stories and pitches that cut through.
 * Understanding of SEO and AI-driven search trends.
 * Experience supporting thought leadership and executive visibility.
 * Energy, creativity, and a passion for building brands that make a difference.
