About the Role As a Conveyancing Paralegal you will play a key role in supporting solicitors and conveyancers throughout the conveyancing process. Working within a collaborative and client-facing environment, you will assist with residential property transactions, ensuring all legal and administrative tasks are handled accurately and efficiently. This role is ideal for a paralegal with a minimum of two years' experience in conveyancing who is looking to take the next step in their legal career. Key Responsibilities Liaise professionally with clients via phone, email, and in-person, providing first-class customer service. Communicate with external parties including solicitors, estate agents, lenders, and other professional bodies. Conduct solicitor and client due diligence. Request and manage documentation essential to property transactions. Ensure timely return and follow-up of documents from clients and third parties. Manage correspondence, file documentation, and case progress using the firm's case management system. Carry out general administrative and clerical duties to support the legal team. Draft legal documents such as sale contracts and re-mortgage documentation. Assist with reviewing titles on sales, requesting redemption statements, and liaising with lenders. Prepare completion statements and client bills. Arrange and coordinate all activities leading up to exchange and completion. Handle funds requests and manage source of funds documentation. Update internal stakeholders and referral partners through case portals. Work towards departmental KPIs and SLAs. Contribute to team meetings and maintain compliance with firm policies and procedures. Act as a role model in file handling, client care, and professional behaviour. Provide support in other departments or locations as required. Candidate Requirements Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential conveyancing - essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail. Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Confident telephone manner and a client-centric approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems. Audio typing experience preferred. Experience with case management systems (desirable but not essential). Flexible approach and willingness to support wider teams when needed.
