We’re recruiting for a Software Engineer to join a leading engineering business delivering innovative automation and process control systems focused on decarbonisation, renewable energy, and complex engineering projects. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role ideal for a software engineer who enjoys working across diverse and technically challenging systems in the energy, gas, and utilities sectors. You’ll be joining a close-knit, growing team passionate about technology, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement. You’ll be responsible for developing automation software for complex control systems, supporting commissioning teams, attending client meetings, and mentoring junior engineers. The role is predominantly office-based at the company’s head office, with up to two days per week working from home and occasional site visits for commissioning and client support.
